The pictorial index in front of book makes it so easy to find the design you’re ready to make. The 13 designers that Salena has brought together are from all over the world
and are very talented. I really like their bio’s after their first design in the book it;’s a nice way to associate the design to designer.
The yarns are also very diverse, from big retailer, online yarns and local yarn shop availability.
One of my favorites is this Twill Tote made with raffia. Being here in FL these totes are indispensable. This tote is designed in two sizes perfect for when you want a handbag or larger market/beach tote.
This Classic Capelet is another favorite. I love the simple design with interesting stitches and the fringe that covers what needs to be covered while looking very stylish.
This Clever Cap is very hot now. Made from bulky weight yarn it works up quick, perfect for last minute gifts.
Another bag… yes, I have a thing for bags. This gives you hands free chic, whether you’re walking the boardwalk, pier, mall or city Boutique Backpack is perfect. I really like the combination of motifs and standard rows to give it a unique look.
This book is fun and young in designs and photography. Crochet for the next generation that’s stylish and hip but practical too.
