My Day at the Lion Brand Outlet

I was recently in NJ and NY for family business.  As always I find a way to visit a yarn store, this trip was visiting two biggies.  I was heading to Newark airport from Westchester County NY and thought I would Google Map directions to the Lion Brand Outlet.  This has been on my list every time I go north from FL, I never seem to make it.  When I saw the directions were basically right off Route 46 I knew it was an easy stop before the airport.  (Route 46 from Westchester, yeah, I take the Palisades through Fort Lee to Turnpike).  Anyway…

Pattern Release- Ice and Snow Shawlette

I am happy to release a new pattern in my I Hook Design line.  This shawlette is made with one ball of Lion Brand-Shawl in a Ball.  It’s a chevron stitch,
but not your basic chevron.  I chose the color OM Opal for it’s neutrality and the colorful sparkle of thread throughout it.

New Patterns Coming Soon.

In the coming weeks I will be launching 6 new patterns.

The first one will be the Ice and Snow Shawlette.  I had a contest with my newsletter subscribers to name this design.  Pattie A. won, with the name Ice and Snow.  It was a fun way to get a name, sometimes it’s so hard to name a design, other times the name just pops out at you.  Pattie will win a copy of this pattern for her inspirational name.
