I recently moved to a town in Central FL and was asked to be an elf in the Christmas Parade to assist the mayor in giving out candy along the route. Some of you know I love parades, marching bands and silliness. I’ve been to the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena CA, and I participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade years ago when I worked for Macy’s.

We had a beautiful sunny day (reached 80). If they only knew what they were asking me… when the parade finished our driver of the golf cart took off with the mayor and left us elves to hoof it up the hill, would you believe no one picked up hitchhiking elves, what the heck, wouldn’t you??? lol
